This week we profile the 'Morph Edition' of chairs by 'Zeitruam' (Germany).
Zeitraum has launched three "Morph Edition" of chairs printed with different motifs.
Friederike Klesper, an interior designer, has considerable experience of embedding prints into wood without covering up its natural structure.
The images originate from Chinese posters dating from the 1920s.
Like tattoos, the prints tell stories and lend the chairs a character of their own. They are applied to the veneer using a specialist printing procedure, and protected against external influences and UV light with a protective coating.
